Article and interview on my being awarded the Margaret Chase Smith Public Affairs scholarship to study the opioid epidemic in Maine. A follow-up article was released later that year detailing what progress we made in that time. This project would become my undergraduate thesis, and we would eventually publish a paper on our findings in the Bulletin of Mathematical Biology.
